Evan Rehill

Evan Rehill grew up in Jersey. His work has been published or is forthcoming in American Short Fiction, Instant City, 14 Hills, Big Bell, Watchword Press, Ping Pong, and Kitchen Sink Magazine. He was nominated for a Pushcart Prize in 2006, won the Miriam Ylvisaker Award for Fiction in 2007, and earned his MFA in Creative Writing from San Francisco State University, where he taught until 2009. The Way We’re Used To, a collection of shorter stories, was published by Push Press in limited edition (sold out) with cover art by Ryan Coffey. In 2009 Rehill received a Browning Society Award for Dramatic Monologue and Honorable Mention in the New Millennium Fiction Awards. He currently teaches at Rutgers University and Gotham Writers’ Workshop. Rehill is a founding member of the Picasso Machinery performance series in Brooklyn. He lives in New York City, where he is at work on a novel.
